This is a totally new and exciting interpretation of the traditioanl pryamid, a minimalists delight! Using exquisite materials of high grade steel for the rod and the disc, the pedals are wooden which gives it a elegant warm contrast to the matte silver of the plate. It earned two design awards in 2009: one from the 'Tradition und Form 2009' and 'Form 2009 Frankfurt'.
the winged will turn from candle light set at the steel plate, just as any pyramid/carousel. It makes this piece so versitile because the decoration is up to you: put figures on you already have, pictures you would like to bring out, your finds from a walk on the beach ... you name it .... I just decorated ours with the fall figures of Wendt & Kuehn! Arrives flat in a box with and simple assembly is required. The rod hooks on to the wheel and the plate fastens by screwing to the rod. It hangs on a cord from the ceiling. All pieces are included.
The winged wheel is 24" in diameter and the plate is 12.5" wide and holds up to 6 lbs. Only limited by your imagination!
